Was your man/woman of God or prophet crucified for you?

-

PASTORS and prophets in Zimbabwe and Africa in particular have turned themselves into messiahs. The question is: All these men and women who have turned themselves into messiahs, what did they do to earn that title? We are now back to pagan times when men worshiped men. In other religions, they worship even animals. Each church now has a “messiah”. The followers of each prophet, men/women of God go out to catch “fish”. They say my prophet/man of God is the anointed one.

This is what Apostle Paul says to the Corinthian Church: “Now this I say, that every one of you says, I am of Paul, and I of Appollos, and I of Peter, and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or where you baptised in the name of Paul.” (1 Corinthians 1:12-13) Somebody needs to answer this question.

Is there anybody, dead or alive, who can claim to have died on the cross for someone else’s sins, was dead for three days, rose from the dead and lives forever more? All of you who are claiming to be the messiahs can you answer this question.

If you move from one church to another and from one pastor to another, you will be shocked by how these so-called servants of God have butchered the Gospel to suit themselves. Whether you raise the dead, move mountains or walk on water, you can never be another Christ. That position is already occupied.

There are two sins that these socalled servants of God have committed.

1. They have removed Jesus Christ as Messiah and put themselves

2. They have changed the gospel to suit their new role

Paul says to the Galatians: “I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him who called you unto the grace of Christ unto another gospel, which is not another, but there be some who trouble you and would pervert the Gospel of Christ. But though we, or an Angel from Heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-8)

In both instances quoted above, Paul was reminding the Corinthians and Galatians that there is only one messiah and one gospel which was handed down by Christ Himself to His apostles. Christianity has a solid history. There was never a time where the apostles said they were the messiah, they knew their boundaries. Whether you raise the dead, move mountains or walk on water, you will never become another Christ. That position is already occupied.

None of the apostles ever claimed to possess power above what the Holy Spirit gave and they were particularly careful not to take the glory of Jesus.

The Lord Jesus says: “Go ye, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things and whatsoever I have commanded you and behold I am with you always to the end of time.” Mathew 28:

It is not surprising to get into a church service and there is absolutely no mention of the name Jesus Christ at all, let alone an altar call to receive Him.

Who is the lord of these people?
