That is why they talk of being pampered, yet they are very pathetic in service delivery. I hope Tandi said this as a joke. If he was speaking from his heart, then shame on him.

They are egocentric and want to see the other part kneel first and accept defeat. But it is the ordinary person on the street, the poor one, who is affected the most. Escalating prices will affect the poor. Shortages, hunger and starvation will only face the poor. So no matter how much civic society organisations, churches, individuals try to intervene and chart a way forward, it will be a futile exercise.
