IN response to Mnangagwa buckles under pressure, GWIZHIKITI says: There is no buckling here. He is trying to create the impression that he is a “listening President” when events in the past three years since his coming to power on the back of a coup show otherwise. If he is a listening President, he should hear our cries that his Political Actors Dialogue is a money-spinning venture for non-influential political chancers. President Emmerson Mnangagwa should talk to his MDC Alliance nemesis Nelson Chamisa. Other than that, cancelling all Drax International contracts is a non-event without first addressing the fundamentals, which is the politics of the day. If addressed, our politics will open up the economy, and my belief is that many things will flourish.

IN response to ED seeks divine help as crises mount, MBUDAYA says: What divine intervention? President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s politics is the one which needs to change. I have reason to believe that not even God will listen to prayers coming from Zimbabwe’s number one. Never! Repent your politics sir, and show the world that you can change. Don’t be another Pierre Nkurunziza, the late Burundi President, who came to power in 2005 promising change, but butchered and maimed thousands of Burundians who differed with his politics.

IN response to Parly summons MDC Alliance senators, PIKIRAYI says: This shows us one thing: that Parliament has become an appendage of Zanu PF. There is what we call freedom of expression, and our leaders should respect the Constitution, which guarantees those freedoms. That’s politics. Find other ways of addressing such issues as heckling, maybe by limiting the time hecklers can make noise in Parliament. At least they would have exercised their right to freedom of expression.

IN response to Zec defends suspension of electoral activities, MAZVANYA says: I can see the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) chief elections officer Utoile Silaigwana is at pains to sanitise the election fraud by Zec. He knows that what they are doing is wrong, but because he has his whole body immersed in the system, he cannot say anything else that reforms Zanu PF and the system out of power. Zec has always been accused of okaying illegalities. Since 2000, it has always been accused of favouring Zanu PF in all elections.
