Most of the executives in State enterprises are appointed based on cronyism so they usually toe the line of the appointing authority. It is high time Zimbabwe has a change in mindset, especially in appointing those who preside over the levers of our economy. Once again, kudos to Mugano for standing for what is right despite it costing him an arm and a leg.

Now it should dawn on her that the operation of the Supreme Court ruling was conveniently used by Douglas Mwonzora and Lovemore Madhuku for selfish reasons. Khupe was used as a pawn. It is clear that Madhuku deliberately availed himself to address the party on the technicalities relating to timelines set by the March 30 Supreme Court ruling on the eleventh hour so as to catch Khupe flat-footed. It seems the Mwonzora faction is praying that Khupe breaches the Supreme Court ruling so that she forfeits control of the opposition party. Now that she is racing against time, chances are that she might be found foul, leaving her nemesis in the party virtually in charge of party affairs.
