IN response to Soldiers, police brutally assault Chitown mayor TANYARA says: I am beginning to question the mentality of our security agents. Why have we gone to such extremes of beating each other where it is not even necessary to do so? Our country is now more divided than we were during the era of the late former President Robert Mugabe. It seems President Emmerson Mnangagwa is using Mugabe’s template of divide and rule to remain in power. But from the look of things, the people are now smarter than before. They are now able to figure out where the problem is and Mnangagwa has been found to be at the centre of our problems.

IN response to Region pressures ED on abuses, CHODA says: The people of Zimbabwe stand with former Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane, he is standing for us the voiceless who get tortured, abducted and brutalised by the police and soldiers. President Emmerson Mnangagwa has criminalised the profession of journalism as people like Hopewell Chin’ono are being arrested on trumped-up charges for exposing corruption and challenging corrupt Zanu PF chefs. Very soon, Mnangagwa’s walls will start falling as there will be no one to support his brutal regime which is closing democratic space for citizens and civil society.

IN response to Mwonzora shuts out Khupe, MADZIBABA says: Whenever there is injustice, God intervenes. Douglas Mwonzora and Thokozani Khupe had an unholy alliance where they were fighting MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa, but now they are at each other’s throat. Mwonzora is power hungry, therefore, he is fighting everyone who has more power than him. It is now clear that Mwonzora is a Zanu PF project and is being used to destroy the main opposition party. Where on earth have the security forces fought in the corner of an opposition party?

IN response to Mnangagwa appoints Health perm secretary, CHEBUDU says: Although I don’t know anything about Jasper Chimedza, I think our leadership needs to start looking for credible people who can be appointed on merit. It is obviously a pipe dream with the current regime, but one can only hope that future regimes will drop this clansmanship. President Emmerson Mnangagwa is slowly losing his grip on power or it’s now payback time for his loyalists.
