IN response to You won’t get help from region, ED tells critics, NHODZI says: If President Emmerson Mnangagwa thinks that the crisis in Zimbabwe is similar to challenges other regional countries are facing, can he show us another country in the region that has changed its currency twice over the last 10 years? Can he show us any other country in the region where people’s savings have been wiped out by inflation and rampant currency changes? Can he show us any other country where people’s insurance policies, pensions, life policies etc have been reduced to nothing, where inflation is hovering around 800%? Can he show us any other country where political opponents are abducted and tortured? Can he show us another country where political parties connive to take away parliamentary and council seats from an opposition voted for by the people to give them to a pseudo opposition created by the State in connivance with compromised institutions?

IN response to Teachers declare incapacitation ahead of schools reopening, WEZHIRA says: The Zanu PF-led government is up to no good, particularly in the way it is treating teachers. It is unfortunate that President Emmerson Mnangagwa has decided to run the country through the divide and rule tactic. It is like in the Animal Farm, where some animals are more equal than the others. Almost every government sector has been captured and things are being run on political grounds depending on where you are coming from. Teachers have been unfairly treated for a long time, they deserve better salaries. Teachers are role models in the education sector, therefore, the government must appreciate their role as torch bearers in the education sector. Underpaying teachers means collapsing our education system.

IN response to Either Zanu PF is out of touch, or its leadership is hopeless, SANDO says: The best way to describe President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s leadership is that it is clueless on how best it can tackle the economic meltdown. The Mnangagwa administration does not have the ability to see the people progressing. Our leadership is so hopeless that all it thinks of is corruption, looting, abductions, torture and violations of human rights.
