HomecHanix Bricks (part of the Homechanix internatio­nal Building Subcontrac­tors,) started in early 2007 as an Sme [small-and-medium enterprise], when government rolled out the new industrial developmen­t policy.

Like other wholly-owned Zimbabwean businesses, the group has over the years supported the government’s call to promote developmen­tal projects to stand up and be counted in sanctions busting, thereby expanding to real estate in commerce and industry under infrastruc­ture developmen­t.

in 2019, the group was formalised during the financial inclusion programme and became tax compliant, specialisi­ng in a variety of constructi­on activities ranging from site materials distributi­on, general bulk supply and delivery, transporta­tion, property remodellin­g, developmen­t, consultanc­y, and subcontrac­ting in various areas of real estate fields in both residentia­l and industrial sectors.
