IN response to State security warns Chamisa, SHOKO says: When a regime is cornered, it sees ghosts and shadows everywhere, and creates stories out of nothing. President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government has failed to find fault in opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa and is now concocting stories. State Security minister Owen Ncube must tell his boss Mnangagwa to fix the mess he created and not point fingers at others for his failures. Very soon, they will run out of things to blame for their failures and even start beating up citizens for keeping quiet in times of strife. For too long, Zimbabweans have been under the Zanu PF yoke and they cannot take it anymore. Stop fabricating stories Mr Minister. Fix Zimbabwe.

IN response to Vehicle plates chaos: CVR blames police, SPIDER says: It’s all nonsense. Actually, there should be a law that stipulates that vehicle licence plates should be issued at entry points so that we avoid situations such as these, where the police are impounding cars that would have come the previous day. When paying duty at the border, the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) must include the charge for plates, and they remit the money to the Central Vehicle Registry (CVR) because we cannot continue to have this chaos in the country. The two entities — Zimra and CVR — can work out logistics and hammer out solutions such that by the time an imported car is released from a bonded warehouse, it already has its plates as well as the third plate.

IN response to Residents sue council over lack of schools, SHAMBO says: Residents should have taken this route long back. It is unfortunate that all our councils are now full of rogue employees who no longer serve the interest of residents, but have turned into land barons only bent on aggrandisement. What the residents now need to do is to make sure that they force the police to arrest all corrupt council officials so that they would set as example for council workers.

IN response to Food aid centres used for condom distribution, KODZA says: This is one of the best strategies which the Health ministry has finally come up with. Condoms should be distributed at points where many people meet so that they can protect themselves against the deadly HIV and Aids. The health officials should make sure that condoms are readily available whenever needed.
