IN response to Zimbabweans deserve better, respect, JONGWE
says: It is very sad that the type of leaders we have don’t care about their subjects. They don’t even bother to fulfil the promises they made to the electorate. The First Family has become the saviour of all criminals, large and small — even beginners.
IN response to United Refineries suspends operations, CHORORIRA
says: Our problems as a country seem to mount on a daily basis. The water situation in Bulawayo must be resolved. It’s funny that local engineers dismissed what the South African engineer said, when he said there was no water crisis in Bulawayo, but that council’s challenge was on water infrastructure and how to bring the water to residents. Now the Bulawayo engineers are drilling 10 boreholes at Epping Forest so that they can bring the precious liquid to residents. Please balance me on this one, why did they dismiss the South African consultant’s assertions? There was no harm in admitting failure. We cannot always cry over the failed Matabeleland Zambezi Water Project — a political tool for campaign purposes.
IN response to Zanu PF councillor accused of stealing Pfumvudza inputs,
CHANDI says: Zanu PF will always be Zanu PF. Zanu PF activists and their bosses have no shame when it comes to stealing, looting and ruining any and everything in their paths. But all their shenanigans are now getting out of hand. When they have plundered everything, they blame sanctions. They pretend not to know that their actions and inactions led us to where we are today. Pfumvudza is a good idea, but then everywhere where there are free inputs, Zanu PF always finds its way there. The farming inputs are not reaching their intended destination. We need to heal as a country. We need to develop and move on. This politicisation of everything will leave us poorer. We are a rich nation, but led by greedy people.
IN response to Address health problems in rural areas, govt told, FAMBAI says: There is no healthcare to talk about because all the public hospitals are in the intensive care unit, so there is nothing the so- called new dispensation can address. President Emmerson Mnangagwa has failed, period!
