IN response to We’ve no chemicals to fight mosquitoes: BCC, CHIMHINI says: Central government should be funding most of these local authorities operations, but then our government is always pleading poverty. It then becomes worrisome, particularly considering that President Emmerson Mnangagwa promised a better healthcare system for all when he rose to power following a November 2017 coup. Even during his campaign ahead of the July 2018 elections, he promised a better Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, his government is failing dismally to transform our lives.

IN response to Khupe mulls virtual congress, SHUMBA says: Even if she holds the national congress on the moon or in Mars, we won’t skip a heart beat. Thokozani Khupe is an opportunist trying to eke a living out of politics. She will disturb the people’s struggle for her own benefit. Today she claims being the legitimate leader of the MDC yet before the founding leader Morgan Tsvangirai died in February 2018, she had stopped long back going to the party’s Morgan Richard Tsvangirai House. Khupe should not pretend as if she cares about the suffering Zimbabweans. She is working in cahoots with those in power to further impoverish the masses, hence she can go hang.

IN response to Zanu PF MP implicated in gold wars, RANGA says: All the corrupt acts happening in the country are mostly perpetuated by people linked to the ruling Zanu PF party. This is a clear indication that corruption is rearing its ugly head in Zanu PF and what is disturbing is that the perpetrators are let to walk scot-free. In the end, these are the same people who are quick to point fingers at sanctions yet they are busy plundering our natural resources. Zimbabwe should not be suffering. Its natural resources should be developing this country and their proceeds not going into the pockets of a few elite.

IN response to MPs demand schools closure, SHUMBA says: What we have to understand is that coronavirus is here to stay. We should always be extra vigilant in our surroundings to flatten the infection curve. One way or the other, schools should not have been opened considering the high risk posed by the disease. Now that they have been opened, there should be massive education in order to curb the spread of the disease.
