IN response to COVID-19-free certificates fraudsters jailed, MUTAMBARA DAVY says: This is commendable. Authorities are supposed to send a warning to would-be offenders to desist from committing such crimes. These fraudsters are putting millions of people’s lives at risk. However, such vigour should be extended to those who are stealing funds meant to procure COVID-19 requirements. It’s high time people take COVID-19 seriously. We have lost so many people and with our already strained health system, everyone needs to play ball. All hands should be on deck.

IN response to COVID-19 vaccine policy on cards, HONEST MUMBA says: At the moment, Zimbabwe is in need of COVID-19 vaccines, not policies. While this is commendable, the government should move with speed to make sure that the vaccine is availble because the rate at which Zimbabwe is registering COVID-19-related fatalities is alaming. By now, we should be talking of logistics of how the vaccines will be distributed, especially to frontline workers. Why does the President Emmerson Mnangagwa-led government take so much time to act on things that matter most? Is it a sign that the so-called new dispensation is clueless.

IN response to ‘Breakthrough’ for Tino, CAROLYNE ATIENO says: Go Tino Kadewere Go. The future is bright for this young man. I hope Zimbabwe will support him so that he becomes one of Zimbabwe's greatest football exports. However, Zifa should put its house in order, especially in the management of grassroots soccer. This is where such gems are discovered.

IN response to Chitown council, residents clash over demolitions, RANGA FORAI says: Inasmuch as people would want to hide behind human rights abuse, I think such demolitions are noble and should be carried out. People cannot just come from nowhere and built houses on wetlands, and over sewage pipes. Order has to prevail in all local authorities. While these homeseekers are losing their hardearned money, those who sold them the land should face the music. They should be made to rot in jail. It takes two to tango. Illegal structures must be demolished as a matter of urgency. No sacred cows.
