IN response to COVID-19 under

control — Chiwenga, CLIVE says: It is our hope that Vice-President and Health and Child Care minister Constantino Chiwenga will to be treated in government hospitals if he falls ill again so that people will believe whatever he says. This Zanu PF-led administration must stop churning out propaganda because people are dying while the government of the day is busy claiming that everything is under control. All our hospitals are in the intensive care unit as they have no medication, no vaccines and no personal protective equipment. Last week, Manicaland Provincial Affairs minister Ellen Gwaradzimba died, while thousands are sick. What is Chiwenga really talking about?

NTINI says: Cry my beloved country, the late Rhodesia Prime Minister Ian Smith left everything in good state. Come independence in 1980, everything started crumbing. We are sick and tired of Chiwenga’s cheap and misguided propaganda. If the situation is under control, why is it that the country is under lockdown?

IN response to Minister succumbs to COVID-19, CHIPO says: A fish rots from the head, and the same is seemingly applying to COVID-19 pandemic. It is claiming the lives of those who were at a vantage point, who could get medical treatment outside the country. Now that COVID-19 is here with us, rich or poor, it is ravaging communities. Death is not good, but then it is an equaliser. We are now meeting at the same public hospitals, which our politicians once abandoned. We always tell them to revamp the public health system. We hope that President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration will start rebuilding the health sector.

IN response to Billiat irreplaceable: Mchichwa, MUMBA says: Players come and go, but the club will always be there. It is unfortunate that former Kaizer Chiefs player Rabson Mchichwa believes Khama Billiat is irreplaceable, yet the club had great players like Lucas Radebe who went on to captain Leeds United, but Kaizer Chiefs continued to play so well. After all, Billiat cannot be regarded as a legend at the club because he has not achieved anything there. Mchichwa should not rush to the media just to seek relevance. Kaizer Chiefs legends are known such as Doctor Khumalo and they have been replaced, so what is really special about Billiat?
