IN response to Police Commissioner arrested, EDSON MABIBI says: Many could have celebrated, but knowing that these are targeted arrests which don’t go far, we just watch and weep. Catch and release is now a common practice in this country. Mostly, it is members of the opposition MDC Alliance that are detained for long and charged. Those who are linked to Zanu PF will laugh when arrested. We have not forgotten that President Emmerson Mnangagwa promised to fight corruption in 2017, but up to this day, we see arrests, but no successful prosecutions. We are still waiting for the real arrests.

IN response to COVID-19 fight: Zanu PF MPs turn to prayer, MURUNGAMA DEFINATE says: God is not a doll. The Zanu PF leadership has offended God in so many ways. It should have prayed a long time ago. Why would it trouble God when it stole money that was meant to help in the fight against the pandemic?

IN response to MDC Alliance MP,

2 activists arrested, DZIVA MURONGA says: This is a daily pattern in Zimbabwe. Resources are wasted fighting the opposition instead of fighting real criminals. There is a rise in murder and theft cases in the country, but the police is not acting. Surprisingly, they summon all their energy when it’s about opposition members. President Emmerson Mnangagwa has surely turned our country into an animal farm, where some animals are more equal than others. When shall we begin to see the rule of law being applied fairly?

IN response to ‘Dem loot’ takes Zimbabwe by storm, TUNGAMIRAI SAXON MATEMA says: It’s not wise for governments to make citizens enemies, especially when they are helping fight lawlessness. Investigative journalist Hopewell Chin’ono helped the police by exposing corruption, yet he is the one being persecuted. We need citizens to participate in governance issues. We cannot be a country of zombies. Zimbabwe is for us all, but now it seems there is a certain group of people who are taking the country as if it is their private property, while others are suffering. Could it be that Zanu PF liberated the people in order to oppress them?
