IN response to Red flag over Bulawayo’s Grade Seven 0% pass rate, GWIZHIKITI says: Zanu PF has never wanted to improve the lives of people in the southern region of the country. People in Matabeleland region have always struggled to get everything, from identity documents, to potable water, quality education, transport, you name it. The late former President Robert Mugabe failed to develop the Matabeleland region. Now his successor Emmerson Mnangagwa is also failing to do the same. Being born in that side of the country is not criminal. People in that region also need services such as those offered in Mashonaland regions. This is why we have always called for devolution in this country. Unless we devolve power, people in Matabeleland regions will remain secondclass citizens.

IN response to Chaos rocks MDCT, MGCINI NDLOVU says: It was written on the wall that a Zanu PF proxy would always exhibit the same characteristics of the parent entity, thuggery, tomfoolery and idiocy of the highest order. We need a serious opposition to change the course of this country’s fortunes. People are in politics for money and they want the situation to stay like that. It is never about the people.

IN response to Ex-minister Kagonye arrested, MEMORY KATE says: The arrest was long overdue. However, we know the catch and release strategy of the new dispensation. A few years ago, former Labour and Social Welfare minister and ex-Zanu PF Member of Parliament for Goromonzi, Petronella Kagonye’s stories were all over the place. President Emmerson Mnangagwa promised to deal with corruption in 2018, but up to this day, we are overwhelmed by more and more corruption. The man has failed. These are the land barons responsible for selling land. Many people have been left homeless, yet these people profiteered.

IN response to Residents accuse govt over Harare mess, OTHNIEL KAMBARE says: MDC and Zanu PF are busy engaging in sideshows to prove a point that each one has failed. This has led to the sabotage of initiatives meant to better the lives of the general public. Can these guys agree to work together for once and help the people? The once Sunshine City now look likes a squatter camp, no laws and order. This is pathetic to say the least.
