IN response to ED to review lockdown measures next week, MAPONYA says: President Emmerson Mnangagwa might review the COVID-19-induced lockdown, but we won’t see any improvement because we have walked this journey before. We have learnt that those who occupy higher offices are the super spreaders of the pandemic. Mnangagwa must have ordered with his subordinates not to host midnight parties like what they have been doing of late.

IN response to Rights group demands decongestion of prisons, GEDZA says: All our prisons are full with prisoners, most of whom are awaiting trial on very flimsy charges which do not warrant being caged. It is high time Justice minister Ziyambi Ziyambi took a deep breath and think in a democratic way and stop all the crackdown on MDC Alliance activists who are fighting government for the people’s cause. Government should not take dissenting voices as enemies of the State, but should accept them as part of modern-day democratic politics.

IN response to New political party emerges, SHANGWA says: The rate at which some people are forming political parties leaves a lot to be desired. The people are already represented by the MDC Alliance led by Nelson Chamisa, who is giving the ruling Zanu PF party sleepless nights.

IN response to Zim should not blindly reopen borders, RANGA says: It is true that Zimbabwe should not hurry to open any of its borders until the curve flattens. We have noted that South Africa has the capacity to deal with any disaster because its leaders are not as corrupt as the ones we have in our government so it can open its borders since it has the capacity to deal with any eventuality.

IN response to Nyadombo bemoans SA ‘slavery’, SIR MATSHAKHO says: It is unfortunate that a player in the mould of Carington Nyadombo is facing hard times in South Africa, but I would advise him to return home and make a fresh start in his life. Nyadombo must come back home and restrategise his life by venturing into a chicken rearing project rather than concentrating on football which has made him a slave. It is best for Nyadombo to think seriously about his life and come up with new ideas which can guarantee him a better life.
