IN response to Chamisa, allies push for dialogue, CHATIKOBO ZIMUNYA says: The late MDC-T founding leader Morgan Tsvangirai was different from MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa in a lot of ways. The Government of Nation Unity, though not fairly done, was the best thing Zimbabwe had. That was the last time we enjoyed life and this proved that unity can bring great things upon a nation. Yes, Zanu PF is the root cause of all our suffering and everything that is wrong in this country, but we need to come together and come up with solutions. Chamisa and Tsvangirai attended President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s inauguration on November 24, 2017 after the coup. Why is Chamisa refusing dialogue now yet he supported Mnangagwa when he violated the Constitution? We need mature politics in this country.

IN response to Cornered govt agrees to salary talks, RANGARIRAYI says: The irony of it all is that the same government increased salaries and benefits for councillors and parliamentarians. Why should teachers suffer? Members of Parliament are doing nothing and do not deserve any salary or allowance hike. It’s so shocking that government is forcing teachers to report for duty when they are being paid peanuts. There is enough for everyone in this country, just that the corrupt tend to grab everything. Henrietta Rushwaya’s attempt to spirit out 6kg of gold is a case in point.

IN response to MDC-T 2018 polling agents yet to be paid, CHARLES CHAKANYA says: MDC-T needs not to behave like Zanu PF people who believe that workers must beg for payment. Political parties in Zimbabwe are manipulative, yet they promise a better life when they are campaigning to be voted into power. The MDC-T has had its property forfeited on numerous times because of non-payment of salaries and debts.

IN response to Chinese investor up for rape, ROVAMBIRA says: Chinese nationals have always presented themselves as superior than Zimbabweans. Last time, someone was shot more than four times by a Chinese national in Gweru, but up to this day, the culprit has not been jailed. During the late former President Robert Mugabe’s days, a Chinese was caught with ivory and nothing happened to him. Zanu PF benefits more from the Chinese and they would rather punish locals than these foreigners. But if one goes to China, it’s a different case. China protects its nationals and does not give first preference to foreigners. Cry my beloved country.
