IN response to ED moves to douse Chilonga flames, MAI RURU says: The fact that 2023 elections are around the corner is the reason why Zanu PF had a change of mind. I can assure you that after Zanu PF is declared the winner of the 2023 harmonised elections, the Chilonga people of Chiredzi are going to be evicted. The Zanu PF government is playing around with people’s minds.

JAMES BOND says: The Zanu PF government is playing to the gallery. The government is playing it nice by backtracking on its earlier decision to evict the Chilonga villagers. As it stands, the Chilonga villagers owe their stay on their ancestral land to Zanu PF. They have to vote for Zanu PF, if they don’t do that that will be the end of their stay at Chilonga. Politicking is at play as the 2023 elections draw closer. There is no free lunch under the sun!

IN response to ‘Cabinet misled on learners’ safety’, MANGUNGUNDENGU says: It is better for teacher organisations to fight for the improvement of conditions of service for their members because demanding that schools should not open is misplaced. COVID-19 has brought a new normal, so we should plan our lives based on that. Zimbabwe cannot be the only country closing schools. COVID-19 might be with us for the unforeseeable future. Learning time for our children is irrecoverable.

IN response to Hands off councils, Zanu PF told, EVIDENCE JAMES says: I never stop wondering who brings these ideas to Zanu PF. If we get to know that person, we would know the source of the country’s problems. Who in their right mind would propose such and have the entire leadership adopt it? Zanu PF must take us seriously for real. So much desperation... So much stupidity, so much immorality... So much bigotry... Zanu PF never ceases to amaze me. Why should a revolutionary party stoop so low... Why?

SAMUKANGE says: Whoever is advising Zanu PF to adopt such polices is doing a disservice to the party. He is actually decampaigning the ruling party.
