IN response to Govt caves in on salaries, PIKIRAYI says: Government is just showboating for nothing. Why is it failing to restore the value of civil servants’ salaries to the pre-October 2018 levels? We have done it before, let’s do it again. The bureaucrats cannot cry foul when civil servants demand living wages, but do not cry foul when they are looting the resources that should fund the salaries of government workers. They have looted for too long and they have no shame. They want to be in government for eternity and continue running down the country. What a shame!

IN response to Mupfumira speaks against ‘catch and release’ on graft, GWIZHIKITI says: I can only comment about the former Labour minister Priscah Mupfumira after her cases of alleged abuse of office are concluded at the courts. For now, if I were her, I would keep quiet. Mupfumira should know when to talk and when to keep quiet. I’m happy at least she is ruffling some feathers in the corridors of power.

IN response to Zim has reduced malaria cases, deaths: Chiwenga, MBUDAYA says: It’s a good thing that we are making positive strides in the fight against malaria. The next port of call is developing the malaria vaccine. We should be a powerhouse in medical breakthroughs, our politics should not stop our thinktanks from making positive contributions to development. Zimbabwe can be a better country again. We can make our health systems an envy of many again.

IN response to ‘Youth have taken farming to higher levels’, MAZVANYA says: The youth is the future and their involvement in the country’s agricultural growth is a good thing. We should have many more youth getting land and utilising it to feed the nation. There is a lot of potential in agriculture. There is a huge market for Zimbabwean agricultural products. We cannot take over land formerly owned by a few white farmers and fail to produce food for ourselves.

IN response to Govt defends disputed Dinde mining project, MAZVANYA says: I can bet my bottom dollar, another Chiadzwa is in the making in Hwange. Government and foreign investors do not care about the rights of citizens when it comes to such projects. It’s the same in Chilonga, government is not done yet.
