IN response to No reason to celebrate Workers Day, TONY says: The government can’t pay a degreed civil servant US$200 for a full month and expect that person to make ends meet. It is modern-day slavery. There is nothing to be happy about for most of the workers in Zimbabwe.

MOSES NYIKA says: Employers are exploiting workers. They are very greedy. This has led most Zimbabweans to leave for greener pastures in South Africa, Botswana, United Kingdom and Unites States. However, it is not all rosy out there. Go to farms in South Africa and see the humiliation Zimbabweans are being subjected to at the hands of white farmers. The government should pay living wages, otherwise there is nothing to celebrate on Workers Day.

IN response to Gweru residents slam mayor’s lavish lifestyle, HUNTER HOLLMANN says: These residents associations are just being unreasonable. They are just criticising for the sake of it? Maybe It is a case of seeking relevance. This is a mayoral mansion, the mayor must move in. A mayor has to stay there as per its name and intended purpose. On another note, these poor employment seeking mayors take these positions as jobs so given their poor backgrounds it is their only chance to enjoy luxuries. Who wants to be a mayor and still stay in Mambo or Senga high-density suburb?

IN response to I’m staying in Polad: Mwonzora, KELVIN MASEKO says: Who exactly does MDC-T leader Douglas Mwonzora represent? He is a sellout. He reversed the democratic gains that Zimbabwe had registered since independence in 1980. He should just shut up. What he wants or does not want does not bother us in the least. He must just declare his allegiance to Zanu PF and move on.

DONALD ZHONGA says: We were told that Political Actors Dialogue is a platform for those who contested presidential elections in 2018. So did “Mwonzorewa” participate?

BEN HORE says: What is wrong with a government of national unity if it is the solution to the problems bedevilling Zimbabwe? Does Douglas Mwonzora know what the ordinary person is going through to make ends meet? Opposition mentality is such a dangerous thing.
