IN response to Push for Ziyambi arrest, PIKIRAYI says: Justice minister Ziyambi Ziyambi should know how dangerous his threats are. What he said puts the security of the judges in jeopardy. Besides, he attacked the judges because he knows he is protected by State security agents. We should never tolerate ministers who attack the Judiciary, especially knowing how manipulative Zanu PF is. Ziyambi should be arrested and face the consequences of his actions. His party, Zanu PF, has always said judges are independent and not captured, but now that the ruling party has lost retired Chief Justice Luke Malaba’s case, Ziyambi and his counterparts want to politicise everything when the Constitution is very clear that Malaba cannot benefit from current amendments. He should go home and have quality time with his grandchildren.

IN response to Teachers fume over Zacc extra lessons probe, GWIZHIKITI says: Government is not paying teachers a living wage. The educators are getting a pittance as salaries. So they are trying to eke an honest living through charging pupils for extra lessons. I think stopping them from conducting extra lessons is tantamount to condemning them to abject poverty. There is need to strike a balance. Teachers have been ignored for too long.

IN response to ‘Uniformed’ robbers on the prowl: Police, MBUDAYA says: Since the coming to power of the second republic, crime has been on the rise in most cases involving State security agents. Something is wrong somewhere and the securocrats need to right the wrongs before the situation gets out of hand and crime rates match those of South Africa. Where are these “civilians” getting police or military uniform? The police should get to the bottom of this.

IN response to Sacu completes 1 case in 3 years, NDABANENGI says: The Special Anti-Corruption Unit (Sacu) is a useless body feasting on taxpayers’ money. We know it was established to persecute President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s political opponents, particularly those from the ruling Zanu PF party’G40 faction. It should be disbanded since it is a toothless bulldog.

IN response to Opposition must coalesce against Zanu PF: Mutambara, MWANANGUNDU says: I doubt even coalescing against Zanu PF will bring any change.
