IN response to MDC duo acquitted after 8 years in jail, WATSON ADRIEL LOLO says: There are too many wrong convictions in the country. We need an overhaul of the whole justice system in Zimbabwe. I am a resident of Glen View and am so happy that the two are finally out. Zanu PF is full of cruel people. It makes sure anyone who crosses its path pays for it. But its leaders should know that nothing lasts forever, one day things will change. There is something fishy about their release. Time will tell.

IN response to PSC, Bikita RDC row over land, ROPAFADZO BENJAMIN says: Land barons have invaded rural councils in Zimbabwe. Rural councils cannot think of better ways of raising revenue than parcelling out communal land to land barons. Greed has engulfed the nation and land appears to be the only viable form of investment. Jerera Growth Point is a classic example of chaotic parcelling out of land by the rural district council which has no clue on how to raise revenue through alternative means. Shame!

IN response to Govt blocks Zanu PF supporters’ eviction, TAPFUMANEYI TRINITY TIRIVAVI says: Government moved to block businessman Billy Rautenbach just because the people targeted for eviction are Zanu PF supporters. If it were opposition supporters, they would have been teargassed and beaten up.

IN response to No price controls: Govt, MAININI MUSINDO says: One would easily be made to think that Zimbabwe is a country where all people are working class who are being paid very good salaries instead of an impoverished lot. One would never think Zimbabwe is a Third World country.

IN response to Wildlife consevationists employ tracker dogs, JULIUS JULIUS says: I find it queer that people who exhausted their own wildlife in their home countries come here and find us living in harmony with lots of animals, then try to give us lousy instructions on how to handle our animals.

IN response to ‘Challenging constitutional amendments a tall order’, ARNOLD CHAKAZAMBA says: The law was largely created to protect the rich against the poor, who would kill them for unfairness. They use the police and courts to silence the poor.
