T B Joshua was indeed controversial?

-

I HAVE always wondered why top men of God in Nigeria such as Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God did not recognise Temitope Balogun Joshua.

He appeared to be a true man of God if you look at the miracles that he performed and the healings that happened at Synagogue Church of All Nations (Scoan).

So I started to study his ways to see what the problem could have been.

I discovered that TB Joshua filled stadiums in countries that he went to and healings and miracles would happen in the name of Jesus, but at the end of the service there was no altar call.

My open question is: If all those miracles were happening and people being healed in the name of Jesus, why were they not surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ as their personal saviour? Is this not the reason why we preach the gospel? To save souls? Who then where these people accepting into their hearts?

I am sure this is what Jesus was saying in Matthew 7:21-23: “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in Your name and in Your name have cast out devils and in Your name done many wonderful works? And will I profess unto them, I never knew you depart from me, you who work iniquity.”

Just as he was dogged by numerous allegations, his spiritual sons and daughters in Zimbabwe who call themselves prophets and prophetesses are also dogged by the same allegations.

I am not judging anyone. But just as the saying goes “There is no smoke without fire”

I rest my case.
