IN response to Zanu PF commissar Chinamasa in night accident, OLIVIER DHLAMINI says: The post of Zanu PF commissar has always been controversial because some of the people who held that position died in mysterious road accidents. They include Samuel “Mayor Urimbo” Mamutse, Moven Mahachi, Zororo Duri, Border Gezi and Elliot Manyika. Maurice Nyagumbo, who was commissar after Mamutse, reportedly committed suicide. Webster Shamu was fired while Saviour Kasukuwere left the country in a huff following the November 2017 military coup. Engelbert Rugeje left unceremoniously, just like his successor Victor Matemadanda, who survived alleged food poisoning in November 2020. Now Patrick Chinamasa escaped death by a whisker. This issue of accidents involving Zanu PF commissars is very suspicious.
