IN response to Police denied entry into Marange apostolic sect shrine, MAI RURU says: This is ridiculous. The Zimbabwe Republic Police should be serious. How can police officers at Marange Police Station be denied entry into the Johane Marange shrine in Mafararikwa village? Why did the police officers give up so easily if they were serious about enforcing lockdown measures? Does it mean the vapostori are above the law? Government should desist from the token enforcement of lockdown measures. Heads must roll at Police General Headquarters. How can they allow over 30 000 members of the sect to congregate for over two weeks in contravention of a COVID-19-induced government ban on public gatherings?

RURU says: This selective application of the law shows that Zimbabwe is a banana republic. How can over 30 000 people gather for that long and the police fail to take action? With COVID-19 deaths on the increase, such gatherings should not be tolerated. To make matters worse, a whole Home Affairs minister Kazembe Kazembe lies to the world that only permanent residents were the ones gathered at the shrine. It goes to show that this sect has links with powerful people right at the top.

IN response to Outcry as UK deports 150 Zim asylum seekers, JOEL MARAVANYIKA says: The United Kingdom should be applauded for fishing out criminals who have been terrorising its nationals. They have been hiding behind political persecution to get asylum when, in fact, they are criminals.

ELIAS TAMBUTSENI says: Asylum for what? You think the British are stupid to give asylum where it is not deserved? Come back home and work.

N response to Loga in defensive

mode, SHUMBA SIGAUKE says: Even though the Cosafa Cup is a developmental tournament, the way the Warriors fared is not convincing. Their dismal performance should be blamed on the technical department which proved lack of depth. Warriors coach Zdravko Logarušić is defending the indefensible. His substitution proved that he lacked the technical acumen required at that stage. If Loga was exposed at Cosafa, what about at big stages such as the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) and World Cup? Zimbabwe is going to be the laughing stock at the oncoming Afcon finals unless Zifa moves fast to reshuffle the technical department. Loga is a scam!
