CHELSEA and Bayern Munich are reportedly set for a straight swap, with the London club said to have offered the German champions Callum Hudson-Odoi in return for Kingsley Coman.

The Blues are reportedly considering several potential transfers as they look to build on last season’s success, which saw them being crown Uefa Champions League winners.

With Coman possibly on his way out of Bavaria after negotiations regarding a new deal hit a standstill last month and are yet to resume, Chelsea have now put forward a swap deal proposal for the 25-year-old, L’Equipe has reported.

Hudson-Odoi has long been on the German giants’ radar, with their interest dating back to 2019, before the 20-year-old signed a new deal that will keep him at the London club until June 2024.

According to the Daily Star, Bayern made another attempt to sign the speedy youngster last year, in a potential loan deal that would be made permanent at a fee of £70 million, but Chelsea did not budge.

However, Hudson-Odoi has since lost his place in Thomas Tuchel's side after seemingly being one of the coach’s key players upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge.

Recent reports have also suggested that the England international is part of a trio of stars the London club is willing to let go in order to raise funds for a striker.
