IN response to Police launch probe on Marange pregnant teen death, ADONIS MADIMULA says: Johane Marange Apostolic Church is law unto itself, I don’t know which Bible are they reading. My thoughts are that they are a cult disguised as a church. If God is their centrepiece then they are dragging God’s name into the mud as the all loving God does not support child marriages. This is very bad, the culprit must be brought to book, child marriage perpetrators must be dealt with an iron fist.

ADONIS MADIMULA says: As the situation stands there is nothing to investigate. There is overwhelming evidence that the man was married to a minor and what does the law say about such culprits? The police must arrest her husband, parents, village head and church leaders who allowed such an act to go ahead. On top of that, Johane Marange Apostolic Church must be banned with immediate effect.

IN response to Gumbura dies from COVID-19 in prison, HORE says: It’s sad that the incarcerated leader of the RMG Independent End Time Message Church of Zimbabwe, Robert Martin Gumbura died at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison, a place not suitable to shelter human beings. It’s an ancient structure whose facilities have been overtaken by events. Why are Members of Parliament silent about the state of our prisons? They are no longer correctional institutions but death traps. We have fake human rights advocates around. Why are they not talking of these dilapidated structures of the Federation period which are still being used?

IN response to Mount Darwin man kills grandfather over witchcraft, MANUWERO JONAH says: It is unfortunate that our government is turning a blind eye on issues that matter in our culture. It’s real that witchcraft exist, therefore, our government must revisit the Witchcraft Act since it used to serve the interests of the late Rhodesia Prime Minister Ian Smith-led government. Now that we have a government led by a black person for the black people, is it not the time we should look into problems affecting the black community with witchcraft in mind?

IN response to Dry weekend for Harare, RANGANAI TEMBO says: Harare City Council should not pretend that it has been providing tap water to the residents. We have always known our water taps to be dry because the city fathers have dismally failed to supply water, a basic need.
