IN response to ‘We can't turn away the unvaccinated: Church, MASLOW MHAZI MTASHI says: Our government always makes questionable decisions. We still have more than 30 cases in a day, but churches were allowed to reopen. All that singing, hugging and close sitting will increase chances of spreading the disease. Our leaders must understand that even churches failed to save us from COVID-19. Major violations of the COVID-19 regulations are due to economic hardships. This is not a wise move and needs to be reversed.

IN response to Mwonzora executives in looting storm, TENDAI TANYANYIWA says: We are tired of these stories that focus on MDC-T leader Douglas Mwonzora and Zanu PF. We need solutioncentred journalism. There is a lot that affects us as people which needs publicity. The Mwonzoras are after lining their pockets. The police should not operate in a partisian manner. They should arrest MDC-T looters. They got taxpayers money so they should account for it. No sacred cows. Mwonzora is no longer serving the interest of the opposition party but personal interests.

IN response to Youths must position themselves for leadership, PRINCESS SIBANDA says: It’s unfortunate that today’s youths were born in a country where the economy is not functioning. However, they are not keen to participate in anything that betters their lives. They follow too much of these silly comedians such as Passion Java and discuss nothing significant. We need youths who aspire to take positions of authority in politics. If Zimbabwe is going to improve, youths must be focused and realise that nothing will come on a silver platter.

IN response to Byo city parking project gets nod, TINO JONES says: These kinds of projects are hubs for corruption. Bulawayo City Council should provide details as to who has been contracted and the money paid, otherwise it’s another money milking scheme. We have seen this in Harare where City Park executives drive top-ofthe range cars, but not many roads look fixed in the city yet people pay for parking. Zimbabwe has been badly damaged by corruption. Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission is busy giving us numbers and targeting teachers doing extra lessons, while big transactions are happening right under their nose. Lord have mercy.
