IN response to Zim may borrow to pay evicted white farmers, MICHAEL MULENGA says: This is ridiculous, how can government borrow to pay a debt? It will forever be in debt. The President Emmerson Mnangagwa-led government recently bought new vehicles for 2018 presidential election losers under the banner of Political Actors’ Dialogue, one wonders what has gone wrong with our priorities.

PEOPLE’S CHOICE PATRIOTIC FRONT says: The government entered into a deal to compensate the white minority farmers for the ills of the land reform programme. Government should find other ways of raising funds to compensate the former farmers. Borrowing from private institutions is suicidal. Private institutions usually impose punitive interest charges which the government will not be able to pay. Those who benefited from the land reform programme must compensate the farmers. Why burden the already burdened taxpayer with an unnecessary debt?

DONALD ZHONGA says: Let those who got the land pay the compensation, nothing for free. The whole nation cannot be taxed for the sake of a few individuals who benefited and are not fully utilising the land.

IN response to 2023 is our turn: Chamisa, HUNTER HOLLMANN says: It’s not yet time for MDC Alliance to win general elections. It has a lot of catching up to do, reorganising and uniting the majority of Zimbabweans. But the only person who will take the party to Canaan is Nelson Chamisa, after a long time though, that is if he comes out of his comfort zone. If MDC Alliance forces the President Emmerson Mnangagwa-led government to carry out electoral reforms first then it will be guaranteed of a win. There is too much infiltration in the opposition.

In response to Major boost for Warriors, TENDAI MAROMBEDZA says: There we go, now our national team players can showcase their talent and make the nation proud. Warriors coach Zdravko Logarušic should take advantage of this opportunity to call all foreignbased players. We need to qualify for the World Cup. Go Warriors Go!
