Mliswa, Zivhu must join Chamisa

-

EACH and every struggle has its leaders and icons. In football, we have players and legends.

For one to gain a national, international title and recognition, one must identify well with his sacrifices when the going gets tough.

In politics, we have Robert Mugabe, Joshua Nkomo, Josiah Tongogara (all late) and many others buried at the National Heroes Acre, Provincial Heroes Acre or at their respective family homes.

These individuals decided to join the liberation war, which was already a passport of death.

Their agenda was to liberate the masses from the bondage of colonialism. Many were killed, yet some survived.

The Zimbabwe of today is full of uncommitted citizens who know what must be done so that we enjoy full independence, but because they are double-edged, Zimbabwe will remain in this poor state.

The young generation has accepted to be used and abused by the old guard.

The Zanu PF of today is a pain for everybody.

The likes of Norton MP Temba Mliswa (independent) and former Chivi South MP Killer Zivhu were kicked out of the ruling party for speaking out their minds.

The problem is that these individuals have the energy to turn around the fortunes of the country, but are found suffering from identity crisis for personal gains.

They say something in the morning, and another thing in the afternoon.

Today, they praise President

Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Zanu PF party, yet tomorrow they slander him and his misrule.

This behaviour is a big letdown to our generation.

Mliswa and Zivhu must move away from Zanu PF’s politics of patronage.

These individuals do not love Zanu PF rule and I urge them to join opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa and his colleagues Tendai Biti, Welshman Ncube and many others to remove the tyrannical Zanu PF.

Together with the MDC Alliance leadership, they will be icons of the final liberation of our country. For now, they are like voices in the wilderness

Chamisa and team are waiting for them to make the right decision.
