IN response to ED pampers military, SHEPHERD LINO LINO says: It is unfortunate that President Emmerson Mnangagwa does not see the future ahead of time. The soldiers want a comfortable life outside garrison camps. Will military shopping malls, flats and armouries be transferred to them when they retire? They need ownership. I stay with retired soldiers and policemen, they are living in a sorry state.

EMMANUEL MUKWESHA says: As a country, we are in big trouble with the way President Emmerson Mnangagwa is conducting government business. What about the rest of Zimbabweans? However, we won’t be fooled again. Since 1980, the Zanu PF-led government has been promising better lives for all Zimbabweans, but up to now it is pain after pain. When shall they admit that they have failed dismally?

ESNAT RUBENI says: What is now required of soldiers is to think outside the box. They still have to come out into the wide community and endure the stench of uncollected garbage and travel on bad roads along with everybody. We want development that benefits many, not the few. Has Mnangagwa turned out to be the president of soldiers who are not more than 50 000 or a leader of 15 million Zimbabweans? Register to vote and vote wisely.

IN response to Sanctions won’t stop us: President, POSSENTI MKUMBUZI says: Firstly, there are no economic sanctions against Zimbabwe by the West. Secondly, the socalled all-weather friends are unscrupulous like their counterparts in Zanu PF in the way they conduct their businesses. We all know what is happening in the granite mining districts of Mutoko and Domboshava, coal mining in Hwange National Park and Binga to name a few. Corruption is bleeding our country dry.

IN response to Silobela Gukurahundi plague vandalised, MAKOTO says: These are the works of those who committed Gukurahundi because they don’t want the memorialisation of the massacres. All they want is to derail all efforts aimed at resolving Gukurahundi. The plagues should be guarded day and night and if the vandals are apprehended, they should be dealt with severely.

IN response to ‘New SA variant hits Zim’, TONHODZAI says: People in Zimbabwe should get vaccinated as soon as possible.
