IN response to Zim sinking in Chinese debt: ED, PIKIRAYI says: We have always said it that the Chinese are colonising our country. Slowly, we are being colonised by these socalled all-weather friends from the East. I have a feeling that the COVID-19 vaccine donations by China had some strings attached to them. President Emmerson Mnangagwa is selling this wonderful country to the Chinese. It started with his predecessor, the late Robert Mugabe. Now things are getting out of hand. Come 2023, we should vote this Zanu PF government out. We need a new leader, we need someone who will take us forward, not into being colonised.

IN response to Zesa lures back exstaff, POSSENTI MKUMBUZI says: When is Zesa executive chairman Sydney Gata going to retire? We need new brains at the helm of Zesa.

IN response to ‘Consult on Gukurahundi victims reburial’, SOLAX CHIMUTASHU says: Even if the Gukuranhundi perpetrators pay millions of dollars in compensation, it will never be equal because the atrocities should not have been committed in the first place. The genocide was wrong. I pray that each one of these Gukurahundists meets their fate before they die. They might bully everyone, but they should know that their time shall come.

IN response to Family basket shoots to $41 000, GWIZHIKITI says: It’s sad that the economy is not performing, inflation is on the rampage judging by the rising forex black market rates. In this day and age, someone is paying their employees $25 000. It just goes to show they do not value their employees. President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government has failed to tame the inflation tide. It has also failed to index civil servants’ salaries to the pre-October 2018 levels. Some companies have followed suit, failing to cushion their employees in this depressing economy.

IN response to Fireworks at Zanu PF Manicaland meeting, MBUDAYA says: I love the way the ruling Zanu PF party operates. It has its own intra-fights, and the chefs are so vicious when fissures start to show. But then when threatened by opposition, the same people who are fighting today will join hands and help each other stave off competition from opposition forces. That is why it will always win any election. The opposition MDC Alliance is not copying and when infighting starts within the party, that’s when we see splinter groups emerging.
