IN response to Zifa set to fire Loga, JONATHAN RUSERE says: The Felton Kamambo-led Zifa board must give the Warriors coaching job to Norman Mapeza. He knows the Zimbabwean football terrain in and out. Mapeza has played and coached at the highest level. He has been in the Uefa Champions League as a player and Caf Champions League as a coach. If Zifa thinks he does not have what it takes to coach the Warriors, then go for Bruce Grobelaar.

EDIZAR MATRONGUDAH HOWEST says: For our national football teams to shape up, firstly, we need to get rid of the Zifa board which is hiding behind the poor performance of Warriors coach Zdravko Logarušic. They are laying the blame on the coach, yet it is their house which is in shambles. They gave Logarušic the job without tracing his past history and now his performance is speaking for itself. Zifa must go together with Logarušic. We all wonder why Zifa brought in a foreign coach yet we have better local coaches. We are tired of this Zifa circus — they must go.

IN response to Murder suspect attacks police officers, VICTOR P PHIRI says: From the look of things these police officers lacked proper training on handling suspected criminals. In the first place, they should have handcuffed the accused.

IN response to Education Perm Sec riles teachers, LESLEY MASHANDIKA says: It is unfortunate that the so-called new dispensation still accommodates arrogant officials such as Primary and Secondary Education permanent secretary Tumisang Thabela who is making a mockery of her subordinates. Teachers are the backbone of every country's education sector and further development of its human resources. Thabela should understand that teachers are suffering and it would not be a surprise one day if they decide to stop going to work and that would be the day when she sees how important they are.

ZERO TANU says: Our country is definitely cursed. Where on earth have we ever seen a permanent secretary mocking teachers? This goes to show that we have the wrong people in positions of authority.
