IN response to Army, police jam Harare, MBUDAYA says: I have been seeing the red berets soldiers working together with the police at various checkpoints in the capital. I have been wondering what's happening. I doubt the heavy presence has anything to do with the MDC Alliance. I want to believe it's Zanu PF politics at play. The other day in Mbare, two checkpoints were only stopping motorists driving Mercedes-Benz cars only. Along Arcturus Road, there were five checkpoints between Larfarge and Harare Drive, a distance of 6km. What nonsense is that? Zanu PF should not stop Zimbabwe from moving forward. Let us register to vote and boot out this bully party in the 2023 elections.

IN response to US$40 pension for Chamisa’s recalled MPs, MWANAWEVHU says: African politics will never grow. It will end in focusing on the smaller picture, and lose concentration on bigger issues such as development, growing the education, health sectors, etc. So President Emmerson Mnangagwa and bitter former MDC Alliance officials such as Douglas Mwonzora will spend the next two years plotting to frustrate Nelson Chamisa and forget to take us to the Promised Land. At his inauguration at the National Sports Stadium following his assuming power on the back of a coup, Mnangagwa promised to be a listening President. I doubt he meant what he said. I believe that was banter.

IN response to ‘Zim governed by roving bandits’, MAZVANYA says: MDC Alliance vice-president Tendai Biti is right. The people who call themselves our leaders have forgotten the real reason they are in office. They should be correcting one another, but instead, they are busy celebrating their looting techniques, popping champagne and calling their boss “the best”.

IN response to Uzumba Chinese mine saga: More details emerge, PIKIRAYI says: The Chinese are getting more powerful by the day. Who is blowing the wind beneath their wings? Where is that powerful bureaucrats spokesperson, why is he quiet on this whole saga? The Chinese should be stopped. President Emmerson Mnangagwa should be stopped from selling this country to the Chinese. I understand two years ago when an article titled No free Chinese lunch was published, the Chinese felt besmirched. I think now we are reaping the benefits of accepting that '“free Chinese lunch”, and we will soon start losing more land.
