IN response to Zim can only be open for business by shunning violence,

TANAKA TSAPI says: South Africa is more violent, but that country is open for business and people go there despite the high crime and violence rates. Businesses in South Africa spend more money on security than those in any country in the world. In Zimbabwe, we intend to politicise everything. Let those who want to do business go ahead and leave politics to politicians. There is life outside politics, hence calling for sanctions does not do anyone any good. The opposition does not benefit neither do the top Zanu PF elite lose out. The ruling elite is still living in luxury. In fact, their lives are even better under sanctions.

IN response to War veterans ‘dump’ Zanu PF, ROVAMBIRA says: The war veterans tasted their own medicine when they were arrested for demonstrating for an improvement in their pensions. It is unfortunate that Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association chairman Christopher Mutsvangwa accuses a Zanu PF faction, G40, and the MDC Alliance of inciting war veterans to protest against government. Mutsvangwa should know that war veterans are human beings as well, who also want to enjoy a good standard of living. They also want to get “living pension” stipends. The likes of Mutsvangwa are arrogant and selfish. They only think of themselves instead of fighting for fellow compatriots. War veterans have seen the light. They have seen that President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government is piling misery on their lives.

Zanu PF mob disrupts MDC Alliance presser,

IN response to

DAMBI TORAI says: Violence runs in the blood of the ruling Zanu PF party. We do not see the reason why its activists would disrupt an MDC Alliance presser. In fact, the picture is getting clearer that Zanu PF is afraid of the opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa. To make matters worse, when the ruling party youths engage in violence, they are not arrested.

IN response to We’re not responsible for by-election delays: Mangwiro, MAHOBI CHIRATI says: Our country is a joke. Last Wednesday, Zimbabwe Electoral Commission chairperson Justice Priscilla Chigumba told diplomats that the electoral management body was ready to conduct by-elections and it was waiting for Vice-President and Health minister Constantino Chiwenga to lift the suspension elections. Conversely Health deputy minister John Mangwiro blames Zec for the failure to hold by-elections, so which is which?
