IN response to Zifa, SRC drama continues, SIMON MATURA says: We are tired of this confusion between SRC and Zifa that is dragging our beautiful game into disrepute. I feel, it is high time the two organisations found common ground for the sake of the game. There is no doubt that football is the most supported sport in the country, hence this confusion is a thorn in the flesh of millions of fans.
THOMSON DZUDA says: I understand that SRC is trying to clear the mess in our game, but this should not affect the game because Fifa does not entertain third party interference in the running of the game. I have read about many countries that have been suspended by the world soccer governing body after interference with the affairs of football associations.
NHAMO TUTSIRAI says: The Warriors qualified for the football fiesta, Afcon, to be held in Cameroon next year, so this is the worst time to have this confusion that will derail preparations for that competition. We want our Warriors to be among the crème de la creme of African football at the jamboree. This confusion is likely to lead to suspension of the country and we miss out on African Safari.
IN response to Chinese miner
blocks workers’ union, FARAI MUGAURI says: It has become a sad reality that the government is mortgaging the country’s vast minerals to the Chinese. These Chinese, besides looting our natural resources, have become so untouchable as they enjoy impunity. They have been allowed to do as they please. On many occasions they have been accused of ill-treating locals. Recently, two local employees were shot by a Chinese miner following a labour dispute. The case was allegedly swept under the carpet. We have had enough of the Chinese.
IN response to ED’s drinking habits explained, CLIFFORD CHIKURU says: Presidential spokesperson George Charamba should not take us for kindergarten kids who can be fooled easily. Charamba should wake up and know that we are in November not February, we are about to conclude the year. His first six months excuse does not apply. He should admit that ED was drunk. We have no problem in him being drunk, it is his right but Charamba should not try to fool us that he was sober when it was clear that he was drunk.
