IN response to Govt imposes mandatory quarantine, PIKIRAYI says: The biggest problem we have is government not sticking to its set regulations. Government has limited the number of attendees at any given function to 100, but the ruling Zanu PF party is always commanding huge gatherings at rallies. I understand people who flew into the country yesterday were not asked to go into quarantine, but instead allowed to go home.

IN response to Ex-banker Munatsi death: New details emerge, GWIZHIKITI says: Banker Douglas Munatsi’s death is mired in controversy. There is no clear picture on what really happened at his penthouse. How can a person die from fire inside a flat which had a swimming pool? Why did he not jump into the pool? It doesn’t make sense that a person, who asked a neighbour to call the fire brigade, failed to escape the flames, despite the numerous exit points I understand are available. There are a lot of holes in this whole story.

IN response to Govt, teachers’ rift widens, MBUDAYA says: This rift will exist as long as Zanu PF is in power. The ruling party has no idea how to expand this economy, hence it knows it has no capacity to make government pay its workforce better. Zimbabwe needs to get rid of Zanu PF. This country needs new brains.

IN response to Probe MDC Alliance activist’s death: UK, NDABANENGI says: Where Zanu PF is culpable, you will never hear its leaders speak. Instead, the ruling party will use the State security apparatus to victimise the mourning family members, if it has not already started doing so. The rabid attack of the West by Zanu PF and President Emmerson Mnangagwa exposes that the re-engagement we always hear being touted is just a smokescreen for a regime bent on hoodwinking citizens that it is doing something on that front.

IN response to Underfunding fuelling police corruption, MENYEZWA says: Our leaders need to concede defeat. They have failed this country, they have failed to make the economy tick. During the days of former Police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri, the police force was well-funded. Today, you cannot see which direction the force is taking. The new police boss Godwin Matanga should start transforming the police force so that it matches the standards of regional ones such as South Africa Police Service and the Botswana Police Service.
