Murare Car Rental wins big
AFACILITY of unique car rental experience in Zimbabwe, Murare scooped the Small Enterprise of the Year gong at the recently held Small and Medium Enterprises of Zimbabwe local legends ceremony.
Murare Car Rental also grabbed two other accolades proving that they are a force to reckon with.
Inspired to provide an exceptional car rental experience to its clients, Murare was established in 2016 and employs customer-focused, dynamic and innovative staff.
The company offers services to corporates, government, non-governmental organisations and individual customers for local and regional travel and all their vehicles are insured. They have offices in Harare and Bulawayo.
Murare Car Rental is excited at being recognised, especially after facing turbulent times which were worsened by the global COVID-19 pandemic.
However, the resilient team turned each challenge into a strength which they used to pave the way to stardom.
While the pandemic has adversely affected many businesses, at Murare, they have managed to thrive and grow.
It is during this pandemic and in the lockdown that the team opened another branch in Bulawayo and also increased its fleet.
Plans for 2022
For the upcoming year, Murare will be focused on growth and opening more branches in other cities.
Its goal is to develop the market and take Murare Car Rental to greater heights.
Wise words for SMEs in Zimbabwe At Murare, the motto is “great ventures start from small beginnings”, and that includes small and medium enterprises.
Small businesses provide a big opportunity to make a difference in the corporate world and beyond.
The Murare team believes there is need to learn from others, therefore mentorship helps one to navigate the ups and downs of managing a business.
Meanwhile, government is targeting the formalisation of small to medium enterprises (SMEs), a move which will enhance their role in contributing to economic development.
In a speech read on her behalf, Women Affairs, Community and SME Development minister Sithembiso Nyoni said promoting the formalisation, productivity, and competitiveness of SMEs had become the ministry’s key goal to continuously enhance the role of SMEs in contributing to the achievement of the nation’s socio-economic development goals including Vision 2030.
