IN response to Zec in fresh voters' roll storm, TINEYI CHIWODZA says: We want an independent body to run Zimbabwean elections. This Zec is just a Zanu PF extension and we perfectly know everything happening behind the scenes with all the security agents deployed there pretending to be ordinary employees. Security agents deployed at Zec have always been the biggest obstacle to the attainment of democracy in Zimbabwe. They are living lavishly and not ready to let go of all the spoilings from Zanu PF.

MAI RURU says: Zec must show that it is independent by embarking on mass voter registration. The fact that it gave conflicting figures on people who registered to vote in 2021 is a cause for concern. Transparency and accountability is a bedrock for free and fair elections.

In response to Mwonzora nicodemously meets ED, MUNYARADZI PETER MACHEMEDZE says: Even if MDC-T leader Douglas Mwonzora and President Emmerson Mnangagwa have a secret or open meeting, such meeting will not solve Zimbabwe's crises. Any dialogue that excludes MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa is a waste of resources. With the die cast on March 26, the end of the Mwonzora outfit is nigh.

RUVIMBO says: We are aware that MDC-T leader Douglas Mwonzora was pleading with President Emmerson Mnangagwa not to field Zanu PF candidates and rally its candidates to vote for the opposition party paving way for the formation of a government of national unity. Mwonzora is aware that by-elections signal the end of his career.

In response to By-elections set for March 26, CHERUTOMBO says: There will blood on the floor soon after the March 26 elections. There is no doubt that MDC-T leader Douglas Mwonzora will recall all MDC Alliance MPs and councillors after losing the by-elections. There is need for MDC Alliance to counter such demons.

In response to Chilonga villagers lose eviction appeal, MACHANJA says: Chilonga, Dinde, Uzumba Maramba Pfungwe pending displacements of villagers from their ancestral land shows how our laws need to be changed. The Communal Lands Act gives excessive powers to the government to possess land if it is earmarked for commercial purposes. While this Act was applicable during the colonial era, it is now ultra vires the current Constitution.
