IN response to ED fires State Security minister Ncube, PIKIRAYI says: Good riddance! His appointment was controversial in the first place. We know how he shook trees and everything when he got into office. The first thing he did was transfer some internal directors to the external office. Then next was everybody else he didn’t like, and he moved them out on the pretext of decongesting the red bricks. He was never liked at the red bricks. He was behaving as if he was an operative, yet we all know his background. This must be a wakeup call to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

SIBANGANI NCUBE says: President Emmerson Mnangagwa can fire as many ministers as possible, we don’t care. What we care about is the brain drain that is continuing to plague the country (judicial officers quitting over poor salaries). Four years into his presidency, he has not managed to stabilise the economy, let alone the civil service.

IN response to 88 judicial officers quit over poor pay: CJ Malaba, GWIZHIKITI says: A few years ago, a Bulawayo-based magistrate quit his job and ranted on social media about the feeling he had when sentencing criminals, whom he said earned more than him and could bribe him and remain with change which was more than his salary. We cannot continue to have this in the second republic. The coup regime has failed, period. Zimbabwe needs new leaders. The youth must register to vote in their numbers. The gun has no power when everyone in the country votes against the system. Let us rig our future by registering to vote and elect people we believe can bring us change.

IN response to By-elections a dry run for 2023: Zanu PF, MBUDAYA says: Zimbabweans don’t give a hoot about the by-elections as much as they do about the general elections. Zanu PF can write forests of paper and oceans of ink about the by-elections, but we will meet in the ballot box in July next year.

IN response to Lusaka mayor declares war on Zim vendors, PIKIRAYI says: I applaud neighbouring countries for taking a stand against illegal Zimbabweans in their countries. Please continue sending them packing, so that they come back home and help us fix this country. Who do they want to do it for them? Why should they only come back to a fixed Zimbabwe? They should also participate in cleaning up the mess in the country.

IN response to Govt takes over city roads rehab, SYDNEY SHONAI says: That is exactly government’s responsibility since all the money from tollgates goes to the Zimbabwe National Road Administration.
