Our business confidence is premised on replicating successful business methods employed by the Choppies Enterprises Group in Botswana since inception in the 80s. A religious adherence to government policies and proven business systems has seen the entity grow from starting with 9 shops in Zimbabwe to 32 in 7years. The growth has been sustained by the continuous support of customers. On that same note the company has endeavoured to make sure giving back to the community is done extensively every year.
Over the years through our annual Birthday celebrations we have given away more than 50 vehicles to customers. In the last 3 years customers have received from us more than 20million in the form of grocery vouchers and cash. We accept this award humbly as it takes note of our contribution to the communities we serve through job creation and donations to different stakeholders in the community. Our vision is to continue to grow and spread our market share to remote areas that have been traditionally neglected by other retailers, as this will stimulate the growth of these areas economically. We will ensure that our brand continues to support the communities it finds itself in by buying local fresh produce. Our fruit and vegetable section is supplied by over 100 small to medium farmers and we have seen them grow and develop in the quality they deliver, more engagement has been made in the meat market which is witnessed by local sellers of butchery products stepping in to supply our brand.
