IN response to Chamisa party rebrands, GIFT JAWANDA says: Which citizens are being referred to by this new party? Is Citizens Coalition for Change going to pose any challenge to Zanu PF?

GILMORE ROPI says: The regime took away everything from MDC believing it decimated it. It forgets that in the beginning, when the MDC was formed, people voted for candidates that they had never heard of before. People always know the source of a cloud that does not bring water.

IN response to Malawi President dissolves Cabinet on corruption row, GIFT JAWANDA says: This is disgusting, it’s trying times for the already struggling Malawi population. These so-called democratic parties, so-called winds of change, are just all froth and no beer. We saw this in Malawi, Zambia and there are some rented people who think this will happen in Zimbabwe and South Africa. It’s a very sorry state of affairs in Zambia, whereby the so-called new broom has started running the country on debts. I understand there is a new party in Zimbabwe, Citizens Coalition for Change. My God! I’m waiting to see what good it brings.

IN response to Chinese firms bite back as resource fallout mounts, GAIL NICHOLAS says: If it’s true that they are uplifting the lives of the people by pouring billions of dollars into the country, why is it that our unemployment rate is still very high, with Zimbabweans still leaving the country? Why are there reports of these so-called Chinese investors breaking mining laws and underpaying workers as well as abusing employees. Why are the Chinese threatening villagers in Binga, Mutare, Mutoko, etc, with eviction? The Chinese are here to make money and if these loans they are giving us are not paid back, they will make sure they take over our properties.

IN response to Musona hints on retirement, SIBONGISENI MNKANDLA says: Give the young ones a chance. You have played your part. Be different from those in Zanu PF who make it to their final resting places clinging onto their positions despite their advanced ages. This country is for us all, there are many others who should be given a chance to shine.

RUSSELL JON says: That certainly would be good news. In fact, any player above 27 years must retire from the national team to pave way for younger players. Surely we cannot have 40-year-old players in the national team. How can someone who played for Harare United in 1998 when it was in Division Two still be playing for the Warriors?
