IN response to Govt at the forefront of undermining the Zimdollar, GIFT PEDZISAI says: The sooner Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor John Mangudya accepts that the local currency is virtually dead, the better for Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe should adopt either the United States dollar or South African rand. The Zimdollar is not sustainable. Citizens cannot store wealth in a currency that is always on a free-fall.
MAI RURU says: If the government does not have confidence in its own currency, who will? Most government services are charged in foreign currency, but the same government expects its citizens to use the worthless local unit. This does not make sense.
