Curry changes his allegiance for his brother

- — Marca

NEW YORK — Before the NBA trade deadline, Stephen Curry had been supporting the Philadelphia 76ers because his brother Seth played there. After the deadline, he changed his support to the Brooklyn Nets as the youngest of the Curry brothers made his move. The 76ers allowed one of hte best shooters in the world leave them to reinforce the Nets, who are currently going through a major crisis. As soon as he gets a chance to play for his new team, Seth Curry will keep proving how much he’s improved over the years. Coach Steve Nash already stated how thrilled he is for getting the youngest of the Curry brothers to play for the Nets.

We hadn’t heard anything about Stephen Curry’s opinion on Seth’s new NBA team, he finally broke his silence after beating the Lakers on Saturday.

“I had to change my favourite team in my phone to get the alerts from Philly to Brooklyn,” said Curry.

“It was obviously a big move, a big splash. I know he was kind of caught in the crossfire of Philly making a move like that. Because he loved it there, loved playing there, and they were playing well. Obviously, you've got to make that move. It’s a win-win for him. Hopefully, he can still be on a contender and be impactful in the playoff chase with Brooklyn. Excited to see him in a new uniform.”

As far as facing each other in the season, the Golden State Warriors won’t get to face the Brooklyn Nets this season. They already played the times they were scheduled to play this season. If they meet again, it won’t be until the NBA finals because they are from different conferences.

However, Stephen Curry always supports his brother and will be watching every single game Seth Curry plays for the Nets. They won’t meet at the AllStar game because Seth wasn’t selected this season but that doesn’t mean they won’t play each other again. Chances are these two brothers won’t meet again until next season.
