IN response to We are replacing absentee teachers: Govt, BOYIKOTI CHIPOKO says: Teachers deserve this. They are their own worst enemies. Why the hell do they continue subscribing to the Zimbabwe Teachers Association (Zimta) which has for years been negotiating in bad faith on their behalf. Stupidity is doing the same thing continually and expect different results.

IN response to New bid to revive Zisco, KELVIN MASEKO says: The Zimbabwe Iron and Steel Company (Zisco) deal shall also fall face down. Everyone in Zanu PF and government wants a piece of it. Top government officials have been at the forefront of throwing spanners into the works and now they have roped in their erstwhile buddies to resuscitate it.

MAI RURU says: Since government is the major shareholder in Kuvimba Mining House, how can it be tasked to resuscitate Zisco, a wholly owned government company. This entanglement leaves more questions than answers. Who really owns Kuvimba Mining House?

IN response to Beholden to China: A deal that tied Zim in knots, PETER KUNAKA says: China has indirectly colonised Africa. Look at most African countries, they are immersed in debt. Chinese loans are a buyout for whatever that country has as its natural resources. In our country, we have given them too much power. They have invested in electricity, security, agriculture, mining, among others. They are heavily involved in the looting of our minerals and wildlife — chrome, gold, elephant and rhinoceros horns just to name a few. On our major rivers like Mazoe, heavy machinery is seen causing environmental damage with the approval of weak greedy politicians.

KITSIYATOTA says: This observation that China has literally colonised Africa is spot on. China has literally taken over Africa. It will take Africans waging another war of liberation to reclaim its inheritance. But this should be blamed on Africa's poor leadership.

IN response to SRC, Parliament clash, MUKUNDA CHITOVA says: The Sports and Recreation Commisson (SRC) should be stopped in its tracks. Its meddling in Zifa affairs will cost the nation dearly. Parliament should descend heavily on SRC before the worst befalls Zifa. That Sports minister Kirsty Coventry is clueless is not helping the Zifa cause. She should stamp her authority and call SRC chairperson Gerald Mlotshwa to order.
