UZ wins at CEO Network award
THE University of Zimbabwe’s faculty of computer engineering, information and communication technology was honoured for being the most outstanding training institute in computers at the Zimbabwe Chief Executive Officer Network awards ceremony.
The Zimbabwe CEO’s Network is an exclusive CEO peer group organisation that leads opportunities for learning and development through peer group meetings facilitated by experienced CEO group leaders, targeted oneto-one mentoring, a customised curriculum and focused learning events throughout the year.
It was born out of the realisation that executive effectiveness was dramatically improved in those rare cases when CEOs met with industry peers. In as much as CEOs met informally, their interaction industry focus gave CEOs not only outside perspective, but also specific, actionable ideas based on directly relevant, real-world experience. Zimbabwe CEO’s Network was launched in 2021 on this principal.
Unlike any other CEO and executive peer group organisation, the network is truly committed to the success of its members by maintaining a careful membership screening process, selecting only the very best group leaders and cultivating outstanding member commitment.
