IN response to School fees shocker, EDDY SITHOLE says: Is there a Primary and Secondary Education minister in Zimbabwe? If there is, he or she must go back to school to do mathematics and accounts. I think we have a problem with numbers in this country. We need someone familiar with numbers to solve our problem.

BRAT NOTHY says: A teacher’s salary is so miserable, yet fees for one child are exorbitant. So how do we balance this? The same teacher cannot afford to pay fees for their child at the same mission school they are teaching. I feel for the educators. Our government should have a heart for our teachers.

TARANGWA MUNEMO says: Nothing shocking here. In United States dollar terms, there is no fees hike. Schools are just indexing the fees to the realistic rate. That explains why prices of everything in Zimbabwe are going up. Otherwise standards at schools will go down if schools do not move with the times.

IN response to Zec seeks to gag social

media, TINEYI CHIWODZA says: We shall not tire until the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) puts its house in order and stops aiding the rigging of elections by the ruling Zanu PF party.

SHEPARD GEZA MANFESTO says: This is 2022 not 2002. The world is changing. Technology will right all wrongs, it will teach Zec a lesson.

IN response to Retailers dump Zimdollar, JOE EXALTED says: If we had a functioning government and were living in a normal country, Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor John Mangudya would have been long fired. The central bank should not have reasons, but solutions, actions and measures. It should leave reasoning to analysts and commentators.

ERNEST MWELLASIE says: As I have suggested before, these guys should be charged and imprisoned for life. They are sabotaging the country. A lot of people lost their lives in the last 40 years under Zanu PF than during colonial rule. We are more depressed than ever. It is the ruling elite only who are enjoying life in Zimbabwe.

IN response to No free education yet: Mavima, THEMBA MOYO says: The Zanu PF regime has looted almost everything in the country, so I doubt if there is still any money to fund the healthcare or education.
