FORMER Bulawayo City captain Xolisani “Scara” Moyo reportedly signed for free spending Ngezi Platinum Stars for $18 000 in the two- year deal.

According to an impeccable source in the Ngezi Platinum camp, the deal will see the player get $9 000 for each season plus a monthly salary of $1 200.

“Moyo joined Ngezi Platinum on a twoyear deal worth $18 000. For each season he will get $9 000. He successfully negotiated for $1 200 as his monthly salary,” said the source.

Contacted for comment an evasive Moyo said it was time to concentrate on the forthcoming 2017 season.

“All I can say I’m happy with my move. I’m here to enjoy my game. All things being equal I’m looking forward to winning trophies with the entire Ngezi Platinum family,” said the former Chicken Inn and How Mine midfielder.

Last Monday, the player was in the City of Kings and Queens to submit Bulawayo City FC’s last season’s training kits. The Try Ncubecoached side has been holding on to Moyo’s clearance certificate, a development that saw the Hwange-bred footballer engage the services of Footballers Union of Zimbabwe.

“The Footballers Union of Zimbabwe kindly requests your esteemed office to mutually agree on our member’s request to issue him with a clearance certificate for him to further his career elsewhere. He has written two letters to the club, for the club to remedy his case but he got no response in the matter hence he decided to terminate his contract with immediate effect because of breach in contract that has spun to three months without a salary and failure to own contractual obligations on the signing on fees,” reads the letter.

Sunday News Sport also has it on good authority that last week Bulawayo City managed to pay the signing on fees dues that they owed to a number of their players that included Mkhokheli Dube, Zibusiso Sibanda, Liberty Chirava, Ndodana Sibanda, Welcome “Waroowa” Ndiweni while Moyo did not receive his.

Sources within the Bulawayo City camp added that also among those that got their signing on fees were veteran midfielder Mthulisi Maphosa and ex-Chicken Inn striker Thomas Chimenya.
