The Light of God

-

GREETINGS beloved nation. Isaiah 60:1-3, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” God is demanding the church to arise and shine. To arise from unbelief, to arise from a position of mediocrity. God is demanding the church to arise to a position of prayer and begin to take their ambassadorial position in the world because the light has come. It’s for us to arise because the light has already come, it is already there. This is the light that will back our manifestation and this is the light that will differentiate us from the world. This is the light that will give us a superior knowledge and a superior wisdom that the world has never seen before. This is the light that our forefathers carried that has made kings to be dumbfounded by the level of their knowledge. In John 1:4-5 the bible says, “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” This is the light that John witnesses about. So God wants us to manifest this light that gives life to men. In Isaiah 60:2 the bible says ‘behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people’. There is a darkness that is going to cover the world. Not only that, it will graduate to a gross darkness that will be upon the people and some of the effects of this gross darkness we are seeing it now. It is manifesting by the way people are behaving, causing men and women to do blasphemous things, things that are against human nature and that are being termed as normal. These are the signs of the darkness that has covered the world. May the church of God arise and shine and begin to demonstrate the light that can make the darkness flee. The problem of the church is that we have hidden this light inside our buildings and we have not taken this light to the market place and to our place of habitation. May God awaken us in this season.

The bible tells us in Isaiah 60:2-3, “but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee and the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” The reason why we are not seeing the nations coming to our business environment, work places, schools or neighbourhood is because this light has been designed to attract gentiles to come to the light we are carrying. This is a serious light that will cause things to follow us or to get attracted to us without us chasing after these things. Mind you it is the light of God that causes the darkness not to comprehend this light.

We are living in a season where the church is chasing after things. Everything in life was designed to be attracted and to be drawn by the mystery of this light. The bible says the gentiles shall come to our light and not our familiar friends, because when those who know you bless you, it’s difficult to say its God. But when strangers feed your flock, then you will know it is a dimension of the grace that this light carries. And the bible says ‘kings shall come to the brightness of their rising’ so there is a dimension of light that the church must demonstrate that will begin to attract kings. Kings will not just come because they are busy people but when they begin to see this brightness they will come for solutions that this light produces. May we arise so that this light will be seen in the body of Christ, so that the darkness that is covering the earth will flee by the reason of this light. Remember we are ambassadors of the kingdom of God, we represent God on earth. So as we arise this darkness cannot stand because we are the carriers of the light. If things are not attracted to us, it’s a sign that we are not carrying the light. I would like to invite you to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour, by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that he is your Lord and saviour, and you shall be saved. God bless you al1
