All roads lead to Nkulumane for top social soccer league clash

“As the founders of Bulawayo Social Soccer League there is nothing surprising about us being on top of our pool. I can see the Championship race clearly and as Ndola we are not scared, actually we are bringing it home”

ALL ROADS will today lead to Nkulumane 11 (Choppies) football ground for a Pool C top of the table clash pitting Celtics against Bangane in the Bulawayo Social Soccer League.

The match is one of the many slated for a 11am kick off, with some set for a 1pm kick-off. What makes the Nkulumane game an attraction for social soccer followers is that a win by Celtics will help them defend their position at the top.

On the other hand, a loss will result in Bangane moving over them on the log standings. Both teams have a similar number of points at 56. However, Celtics have a healthy goal difference after scoring 104 against 40. On the other hand, Bangane have scored 63 while letting in

23.

In another highly anticipated clash, thir-d placed Mthala with at 60 points, take on Glenkara who are fourth on the log (Pool A) after collecting 58 points. Meanwhile, last weekend Ndola Stars administered a “double jeopardy” sentence to disjointed Strivers after edging them 1-0. During the first-half of the season they went home victorious again riding on a similar score line. An excited Ndola Stars (Pool B) Vice Vhairman Davison Mhlanga said as one of the founders of the league there is nothing surprising about their current position.

“As the founders of Bulawayo Social Soccer League there is nothing surprising about us being on top of our pool. I can see the Championship race clearly and as Ndola we are not scared, actually we are bringing it home,” he declared.

Today Ndola are up against West

Comm, and just a point separates the two teams. A win by West Comm demotes Ndola to second position.
