PREPARATIONS for Chris Martin tour are at an advanced stage as Chris Martin is expected in the country on April 27 to fully prepare for his performance at the venue.

The musician will bring his band and they will spend two days in the country getting ready for their performance at Glamis Arena on April 29.

Chris Martin will be supported by Jah Prayza, Winky D and Lipsy and tickets for the show are now on sale.

“The tickets, which are going for $15 (ordinary) and $20 ( VIP), are available at all Red Rose Salons, Sopranos Restaurant in Avondale and Hard Sounds shop at Gulf Complex among other outlets.

“We have done all the ground work and tickets are now available. We have done everything possible to ensure that the show does not end up in chaos like other recent shows featuring international artistes. We encourage people to buy tickets in advance to avoid congestion on the day of the show,” noted the organisers in a statement yesterday.

In an earlier interview the organisers said Chris Martin was excited about the tour.

“He (Martin) has promised an exceptional show and thanked Zimbabweans for rallying behind many Jamaican musicians that have toured the country. He said he is very excited to visit Zimbabwe because it has always been his dream to come here. We are optimistic he will deliver the best and add his name to the list of Jamaican musicians that have thrilled their local fans.”
